You're peeling a mandarin on a clean bedsheet on a Sunday morning, and the spray from the peel catches the light. That's the start, juicy and sharp. After a while the citrus calms down and the scent gets closer and softer, like warm skin. That comes from ambrette, which is pressed from the seeds of a type of hibiscus. It's one of the few musks that comes from a plant, and it smells faintly of pears and clean laundry. Benzoin is a resin tapped from Styrax trees in Southeast Asia, and it brings a gentle vanilla sweetness. There are only three notes listed here, so you can pick each one out.
How to use
Spray on pulse points: wrists, neck and behind the ears. Let it dry down; don't rub. Keep away from eyes.
