Think of an old library with leather chairs, a vase of roses going over on the desk, and a dish of brown sugar cubes on the side table. Bergamot and saffron open it, sharp and golden. Rose and oud follow, and the oud gives the flowers a deep, woody edge. Down in the base, oakmoss does a lot of the work. Oakmoss is a lichen that grows on the bark of oak trees, and it smells damp, inky and green, like a forest floor. Perfumers have used it for over a century to give scents a darker, grounded feel. Here it sits with amber, tonka, leather, brown sugar and white musk, so the end is sweet and warm.
How to use
Spray on pulse points: wrists, neck and behind the ears. Let it dry down; don't rub. Keep away from eyes.
