An early summer evening in a garden. The honeysuckle is out, there's an orange tree in a pot by the door, and someone is toasting marshmallows over a small fire. Neroli comes first, fresh and slightly green. Neroli and orange blossom both come from the flowers of the bitter orange tree, but they're made differently. Neroli is steam-distilled, which gives it a lighter, fresher smell. Orange blossom absolute is extracted with solvents and smells richer and more honeyed. Here you get both, with rose and honeysuckle in the heart. The base is marshmallow and cistus labdanum, sweet and resinous, like the last bit of the fire.
How to use
Spray on pulse points: wrists, neck and behind the ears. Let it dry down; don't rub. Keep away from eyes.
